Trumbull Community Action Program

Trumbull Community Action Program

Education

Our Education Team provides developmentally appropriate learning environments that prepare children for kindergarten. Kindergarten readiness goals focus on the needs of each child. Our program curriculum, the Creative Curriculum, is a research-based strategy that focuses on the following areas: Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Social Studies, and the Arts. We also use Conscious Discipline, which is a comprehensive emotional intelligence and classroom management system that focuses on children feeling safe and connected. Both programs are proven, science-based, and widely accepted systems.

All our centers have a 5-Star Rating through Ohio's Step Up to Quality System! Step Up to Quality is a quality rating and improvement system that scores learning and development programs anywhere from 1-star to 5-stars based on how well they meet program standards and licensing health and safety regulations. The program is administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Sample Daily Schedule (Full Day Classes)
