Trumbull Community Action Program

Transportation

Families must provide Head Start Registration with the correct pick-up and drop-off addresses. You must also keep all contact information current with registration, including: home and transportation addresses, telephone numbers, first and last names of any adult who is listed on the release to list for your child. PLEASE NOTE: Emergency contacts must be at least 16 years of age and have a state issued photo ID.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to provide TCAP Head Start with any changes to pick-up and/or drop-off locations and emergency and/or release to contacts at least three (3) working days in advance.

Children who are unable to be dropped off to an authorized adult with identification will be taken to the main office at 1230 Palmyra Rd. SW Warren, Ohio 44485. If the child is not picked up by 4:30 pm, then Children Services will be contacted.

Please have your child ready and waiting for the bus at least ten (10) minutes before the scheduled arrival time in the morning. If your child is not ready on time, the bus can only wait for two (2) minutes.

Please always make sure to keep the provided YES/NO sign visible. Remember, if the sign is red (no), then the bus will not stop to pick up the child.

No food, drinks, candy, gum, or toys are permitted on the bus.

If your child does not need transportation on any given day, we ask that you inform the Transportation Office at 330-393-2507 extension 114 by 7:00 a.m. If your child has not been on the bus for three (3) days in a row, and you have not contacted the Transportation Office, the bus will not stop for your child until you notify the Transportation Office.

TCAP Head Start provides transportation as a courtesy. Transportation is not a Head Start requirement. Please note, changes of classroom or center may result in the child being placed on a waiting list.
