
The Summer Recreation Program
was a
program offered by the Trumbull Community
Action
Program (TCAP) to allow the children from the area to
participate in a
beneficial, fun experience. The program ran for
six weeks throughout the summer between June 22nd and July
31st. The daily events included classroom tutoring, gym/outdoor
recreation, and many other activities. Breakfast and lunch
were provided to the children participating in the program.
Parents, or guardians, of the children were responsible for
transportation to and from TCAP on a daily basis. Daily schedule
was Monday- Friday from 9am to 3pm and varied with field trips planned for the children.
No fees were charged to the parents/guardians of the children who participated in the program.
